Janmer
Today is the last day of our extended vacation at the resort island. Yul and I had an amazing time, so does Alfonse and Ricardo too. I was lying awake on the bed, with my lover sleeping at the nook of my arms. I was admiring his handsome features up close, caressing the side of his face. A few minutes later, my phone on the bedside drawer vibrated a few times. The vibration went on a few more times and finally I gave up. My thumb brushed over Yul's lips as he let out a soft moan of my name. I leaned in close and rewarded him with a long, deep kiss.
"Good morning." I said to him as we broke our kiss.
"Good morning." He said as he came in to hug me.
"Time to wake up." I chuckled as I slowly shoved him away. He laughed, kissed me, got up and went to freshen up himself at the bathroom. I picked up my hone and looked. There were missed calls from Antonio, I called him back.
"Hey there, Handsome." His voice sounded on the other end of the line.
"Is there something going on?" I asked.
"Nothing much, just that a hurricane just landed on this end of the universe." He replied casually.
"She's here, isn't she?" I asked.
"Troublesome as ever, and stubbornly determined as usual. I said you were on vacation to relax." He said.
"Did she mentioned how long she'll be here?" I asked.
"No idea. I smell something fishy going on." Antonio warned.
"With my mom backing her up because she's her favourite niece, it's not easy to fend off Patrice." I groaned. Moments later, Yul got out from the bathroom, still dripping wet with a towel around his waist. Making it hard to control my desire for him.
"I'm gonna have to go. Talk to you once I'm back." I said.
"Sure, have fun with your lover boy." He laughed and hung up.
Yul
"Did something happened?" I asked Janmer.
"No, nothing that I can't handle. I was just following up some things with Antonio." He replied as he came and gave me a soft kiss. Followed by a little squeeze n my ass.
"Do you know how badly I want you now?" He growled in my ear.
"Why don't you show me then?" I teased and he immediately pulled me back to the bathroom. And we had an amazing foreplay and frottage to start our day.
After properly cleaning up and down in the living room, we were relaxing for the day while spending our last day of vacation together. Ricardo and Alfonse on the other hand were enjoying a walk in the garden outside.
"What are we going to do once we're back to our normal routine life tomorrow?" I asked as I lay on his lap after lunch.
"Nothing's going to change. I will still love you. And I plan to be with you together, always." He said and gave me a peck on the forehead.
"What about our family?" I asked.
"We'll handle the issues together when the time comes." He consoled. I snuggled against him.
Throughout the remainder of the day, we spend our time at the resort. Playing games with Alfonse and Ricardo. Laughed and joked. Before we know it, it was already evening and we have just finished packing our things and showered.
It was then when trouble started to knock on our door.
Janmer
My phone was ringing on the table as I went to pick it up. It was from Antonio.
"Turn on the TV, now." He sounded serious.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"You will know once you turn it on." He said and waited. Confused, I took the remote and turned on the TV. Switching to the news channel as instructed by Antonio. Yul and the others looked confused and concerned.
On the screen was a familiar face. One who Antonio and I spoke about this morning. She was smiling to the camera. Next to her were my parents. AS usual, my authoritative mother taking the lead.
"It is with pride and honor, that I would like to announce a auspicious news." Mother spoke on the microphone.
"My son, Janmer, will be engaged to my niece, Patricia. The details of the function is yet to be finalised. Which we will discuss once he is back from his vacation." She had her usual cold emotionless smile which I loathed as I switched off the TV.
"What's going on?" Yul asked.
"This is all their set up." Alfonse answered.
"My mother has been a very controlling person, only she has met her match in me." I told him, a hint of frustration in my voice as I brushed my hair.
"I love you, always and only you." I held Yul's hands tightly to reaffirm my conviction.
"I know Janmer, I love you too. But how are we going to get through this?" Yul asked in concern.
"I will make sure we get through this. Are you willing to walk down this treacherous path with me?" I asked him.
"I will, Janmer. I will be by your side always." He kissed me to reaffirm our love for each other.
"But you will have to come out of the closet then. There may be repercussions from this action." Ricardo said to both of us.
"We'll get through this somehow." Yul said.
"Then, you have our full support." Ricardo said while Alfonse nodded his head.
"Not forgetting me too." Antonio said through the phone.
"Thanks." I said to everyone and kissed Yul.
Yul
"Antonio, his is what I need you to do..." Janmer started to relay some instructions to his friend.
"Yul, we better let Lillian know about this too." Ricardo suggested. I nodded in agreement as I made a call to my manager. Preparing our upcoming war, and hopefully emerging triumphant and our love for each other stronger than ever.
